Ruth Ellis was born July 23, 1899. At age 100 she is celebrated as the oldest "out" African American lesbian. For the past 20 years Ruth has been a mentor and encourager to young women to live their truth. In this conversation with Chuck, Ruth speaks of her "ordinary" life, tracing her upbringing, relationship with Babe, and her advice to couples in the 21st century.
